Retrofit is a modification of a customer's machine tool to improve its function, performance, productivity, quality, maintainability, etc. by redesigning some of its functions, remodeling its functions, and replacing (updating parts). Retrofitting includes replacement work with the latest units to prevent long-term machine stoppages due to the failure of discontinued parts.
