It is an activity to eliminate machine breakdowns and keep machinery and equipment in a normal and good condition, and refers to the creation of machinery and equipment that can be used with peace of mind. Specifically, these activities are: 1) to prevent machine breakdowns, 2) to extend the service life of machine parts, 3) to reduce machine downtime, and 4) to reduce unexpected breakdowns to zero.
