Limit switch

A limit switch is an electrical switch that encapsulates a microswitch and operates a mechanical detection via an actuator. They are used for automatic stopping and position detection for stroke limit of power machinery. The housing is protected by a metal or resin case to provide environmental resistance (temperature, vibration, dust, water/oil, etc.) and mechanical resistance, and the switch is called LS for short.
