Dial-gauge (Indicator)

A tool for accurately measuring short linear distances. The analog type converts the linear motion of a spindle with a measuring element into a rotational motion by means of gears, which are further magnified by means of gears, and the magnitude of the motion is indicated by a scale and pointer.
