Cutting ( Machining)

The process of cutting or shaving an object using a blade. It is also called removal processing. A typical example is the cutting of metal materials by a machine tool. There are several cutting methods such as turning (outer rounding, facing, boring), flattening, drilling, milling, etc., by combining the motion of the cutting tool to cut the workpiece (cutting motion) and the motion of moving the uncut part of the workpiece to the cutting tool (feed motion). Cutting methods include turning (outer round, facing, boring), flat cutting, drilling, and milling.
