Copying principle

In a process such as cutting, in which a certain amount of material is removed from the workpiece by a machining tool, the accuracy of the dimensions and shape of the product is limited by the dynamic accuracy of the machine tool. In other words, it is not possible to produce a product that exceeds the accuracy of the machine tool. This characteristic is called the copying principle of machine tools.
