CALIPERS (VERNIER CALIPER)

It is a measuring instrument that consists of a main scale and a secondary scale that slides along it to measure the thickness and diameter of an object. The main and secondary scales are equipped with jaws that can pinch the object from the outside or apply them to the inside of the object.
