ABNORMAL SOUND (NOISE)

The sound that a machine makes when it is working normally is called normal sound, and the sound that it makes when it is not working properly is called abnormal sound. The most common cause of abnormal noise from a machine is a defect or abnormality in the machine or its parts. For example, in a machine with rotating gears, if the gears do not mesh properly, the noise will be generated. In the case of equipment with rotating parts, abnormalities in the bearings or contact with the rotor can also cause abnormal noise.
